Though this year looks nothing like previous years...Though this year’s schooling will take place at home...Though this year is not what anyone wanted...Though this year, staying home is the safest option...Though this year you will “zoom” your class and utilize google classroom, clever.com, navigate a computer, and type some of your “writing.”...Though this all makes my heart hurt, seeing education conducted in this way...
You. Are. So. Brave. And. Understanding.And you still look forward to “going” to school.
Livia, I’m sorry 2nd grade is beginning in such an unnatural way. But I would take this beginning over wearing a mask, social distancing, foreign barriers on desks, constant hand sanitizing and the constant worry over whether the school was providing the proper precautions and cleaning daily.
