July 28th & 29th 2020
I truly can't believe how fast you went from an infant to a 4-year old toddler. You have such a cute and sassy personality. You love love love imaginary play. I love how affectionate you are (more with me than with Daddy, but I think it's because of the scruff on his face). You still don't sleep through the night and somewhere between 12:30am - 4:00am, you wonder into our room and crawl into our bed. You are super talkative and will tell everyone just what exactly is on your mind.
This year, we traveled to Gram's house to celebrate in the midst of all this coronavirus craziness. You have quite a good understanding of the coronavirus and you have dealt with it in stride. Not an easy task for a 4-year old. Though you have expressed that you miss going to school and seeing your teachers and friends, you absolutely love spending time at home. On a positive note, you have become extremely well at riding your bike during this pandemic as well as navigating disney+/netflix kids on your tablet. Like your sister, you have grown to love the pool at Gram's, we are so lucky we have somewhere we can retreat to during this summer with not much else to do. You wanted a unicorn themed birthday so that's exactly what you received. We love you so very much and though we would love to freeze time and keep you this little and adorable forever, we are excited to watch you grow. Here are all the pictures taken:
July 28th: Here is the cake my little bakes helped with. We made a 4-layered rainbow cake. Both the cake and the buttercream frosting were made from scratch and it turned out pretty good. Their cake looked so pretty with the cake topper.
Here they were gesturing “one more wake-up”
July 29th: Madison seeing her presents on the kitchen table after waking up in the morning.
Madison's (Christmas display of) birthday gifts from Gram...
