How Covid-19 birthday parties look...
We form a car line and wait for the fire trucks...masks on face. Then, when the fire trucks signal it is time to start, we have a car parade where the birthday girl stands outside her house with her family and we all wave as we pass. We held signs that wished Deveshi a happy birthday. We also decided to raise it up a notch by blasting an upbeat version of happy birthday from our car speakers. When we turned around to pass again, we threw a gift out the window...I am laughing as I am typing this last sentence, though not a laughing matter....ahhh what a crazy world it has become. Pics...
