Today was a beautiful day, the weather was pretty cool for a summer morning/afternoon.  We took the girls to the second playground at Thompson park.  I took some really cute pictures.

Ms. Jasi’s Wedding

The girls were so excited to attend their very first wedding...though virtual, on zoom, due to the pandemic.  Livia was excited to get dressed up and she wanted her hair done.  While they watched, they were so excited to see Ms. Robin and Ms. Jasi. However they were mostly looking forward to when Ms. Jasi kisses her husband. 😂

 August 10th

During this crazy coronavirus era...going to a doctor appointment is much different.  When we arrived in the parking lot, we had to call and the staff told us which room to go to (I can totally get used to bypassing the waiting room).  The nurse checked Madison’s eye sight then both girls height and weight.  Madison was both 39” tall and 39lbs.  Livia was 46.5” tall and 48 lbs.  Both grew about 2.5 inches taller over the last year. Madison needed to receive her vaccine 😕 but Daddy knew how to make them feel better about coming to their doctor appointment.  Livia even made a comment in the car about how Daddy makes everything better.  Later we took a trip to target (it was their first trip to a store since March other than a Farmers market about two weeks ago).

August 6th

Madison received some cry babies for her birthday and both Livia and Madison love playing with them and caring for them.  It's sweet to watch.

Happy 7th birthday Livia Renee' Weinert!  At first, you wanted a "flower" themed cake, but Gram didn't have much luck finding flower themed tableware for your birthday.  So, you and I navigated Partycity.com to find a theme that you would like and the second you saw the LOL themed birthday tableware, you knew that is what you wanted.  So, we ordered LOL cake toppers and you made about 90% of your birthday cake ALL BY YOURSELF.  You just love baking...cakes, cookies, cupcakes, you name it.  You also love helping out where you can when making breakfast, such as eggs and pancakes, or basically anything that requires mixing, eggs and using the oven.  You even love watching the baking shows on Netflix like Nailed It! and Kids Baking Challenge.   

You are no longer a toddler but growing into a very compassionate, strong, athletic, independent little girl.  You are quite a girly girl too who has quite a sense of fashion and loves to have your hair done and accessories to match.  You also love to wear my high heals.  The virtual learning has been hard on you during this pandemic, you loved the social aspect of school and not having it was difficult. This upcoming school year is looking like it may start virtual as well.  But you are understanding as to the reason why it is so important to stay safe.  We love you so much, these past 7 years, you have brought us the most joy we have ever experienced in our entire lives.  Stay kind and good hearted and continue to be a role model for your little sister.  You are an awesome big sister and Madison looks up to you more than you will ever know.
