Manalapan Park

February 17th

We checked out Manalapan park today.  It's a nice park with a lot of open fields and courts (tennis and bball).  There were two playgrounds with slides.  The girls had a good time.  Madison actually stepped on mushy grass and one foot got wet, then on the other playground, they had mulch and a bunch of those spiky ball weeds all over the ground.  The girls were chasing each other and Madison fell and when she stopped her fall, one of those prickly balls poked her wrist.  She was quite upset to say the least.  They liked the swings.  My favorite park is still Thompson park :)

I didn't notice the bird poop until after I looked at the pictures 🙄

This playground had VERY high slides.

February 14th

Valentine's day fell on a Friday this year.  The girls wore heart outfits during the week leading up to Valentine's day.  Here are some pics during the week.

Here were their Valentine exchanges to their classmates. Livia's included a wordsearch and Madison's were playdoh.

On Wednesday morning before school...

At home...on the morning of Valentine's day... Daddy had this all set up for his girls. When we all came downstairs in the morning the girls were so excited.

Livia had gym so she needed to wear sneakers...

I found this cute "love" box at homegoods and used pinterest inspired ideas to fill it using "sense" as the theme...(utility gloves for "touch" google mini for "hear" cupcakes for "taste" and such).

Livia when I picked her up from school.  It was the gift she received from us at school (a cute scented squishy keychain in the shape of a cupcake).  Her note from us read 

"Happy Valentine's Day!  We love you so much.  Continue to be the sweet person you are💗 Love, Mommy, Daddy and Madison."

These dresses were in their valentine gift bags.  I'm not sure if they are nightgowns or dress up dresses, either way, they wanted to get changed into them when they got home).
